Allison Stickel joined the Education Alliance in August of 2020 as an AmeriCorps VISTA member. She served in a VISTA position for two years, then was brought on as an employee of the Education Alliance in 2022. In her 4 years with the alliance, she has played an integral role in supporting its mission, outreach, and programs. She now works directly with the CAREERS program, coordinating a $4.7 million federal grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission and forging career pathways for West Virginia students.

She received her master’s in Data Marketing Communications from West Virginia University in December of 2019, which equipped her with the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to drive student success today. During her time in graduate school, she worked at the WVU’s College of Engineering, where she helped bring STEM concepts to children throughout West Virginia.
