THE AMERICORPS GROW YOUR OWN
The GYO program enables high school juniors and seniors participating in their school district’s GYO program to serve as AmeriCorps members in elementary and middle school classes. The GYO members gain hands-on career “practicum” experience in the teaching field as they progress on a career pathway to become a professional educator.
