1645 winter items donated and distributed
2025 -2026 COATS4KIDS DRIVE
In honor of MLK Day of Service, Education Alliance staff and AmeriCorps members were pleased to sponsor the 6th annual Coats4Kids coat drive from December 1, 2025 -January 19, 2026. During this time, drop-off locations were available across West Virginia for people to donate any winter gear which our members helped to collect and distribute across the state.
At the conclusion of the 2025-2026 drive we had collected a total of 1,645 Winter clothing items including:
- 1,392 warm coats
- 83 pairs of gloves
- 10 comfortable scarves
- 134 hats
- 26 miscellaneous other cold weather apparel items.
